DragonFly E Cigs Review
If you’ve done any online browsing for E-Cigs, you may have noticed that 95% of the brands out there sell the same e-Cigarette in the same starter kits with the exact same contents.
You’ve got your mini-style kr808d battery, a 5-pack of cartomizers and a charger. When I first started looking into E-Cigs, all these starter kit looked like mysterious toys that would help me quit smoking and they were really fun at first. There’s nothing wrong with the traditional set that we’ve come to know and love. The mini-style E-Cig’s likeness to tobacco cigarettes makes them a nice tool to replace tobacco cigarettes for those that are stuck on the appearance and feel aspects of switching. But there’s more to electronic cigarettes – more diverse options, better devices and more than the clone starter kits that dominate the market. Dragonfly E Cigs is the best brand for those that want to browse a large array of electronic cigarettes that exceeds the norm. I’ve put together a brand overview of Dragonfly E Cigs so that you can navigate that diverse selection as an informed shopper and a happy, fulfilled shopper.
While the boiler plate electronic cigarettes — those same old minis in the same old kits — work for some people, others are more interested in performance and going beyond the norm for the best experience. People like us don’t care if it looks like were smoking some device that came straight out of a Phillip K Dick or Alduous Huxley novel (some may see that as a benefit even), we just want the most and the best tasting vapor and the longest lasting battery. Dragonfly does have mini, normal looking E-Cigs if you are that type, but we’ll get to that. And this is why I love Dragonfly E-Cigs – variety. So to get you started, I’ll give the basic breakdown of the e-Cigarettes offered by Dragonfly E Cigs.
The biggest draw for me is that they offer Joyetech products. Joyetech is a (maybe even THE) leader in the industry, producing their wildly populer Joye eGo and Joye 510 lines of tank style electronic cigarettes. They’re both different than the kr808d’s but the eGo really is because it uses tanks that you put e-Liquid in and connect via a 3-piece atomizer to a huge battery. Experienced smokers and curious new smokers alike should check these out and explore the site for Dragonfly E Cigs. They have starter kits for the following Joyetech 510 and eGo models: Joye 510, Joye 510 T-Tank, Joye absolutely eGo, Joye eGo-T and Joye eGo-C. I’ll touch on these but as you can see, there are a lot of different models that you can go explore on their really nice website. They have crystal clear pictures that zoom in when you hover on them, giving you a clear view of what the product is without being a nuisance. It’s the little things.
The Joye 510 regular is really comparable to the kr808d, it uses the same 2-piece set up with the battery and cartomizers but it’s just a slimmer, sleeker design. It may not be shaking up the technological e-Cig world but I prefer it to kr808d’s and Dragonfly has a lot of great color batteries, good flavors and manual and automatic batteries. But there’s also the Joye 510-T Tank which is a whole different idea. There’s these plastic mouthpieces/cartridges that you fill with e-Liquid, and then those fit snugly into an atomizer (the heating medium) which plugs into the battery. The 510 line of electronic cigarettes is nice, but the batteries aren’t noticeably better than any kr808d options and they follow the same line of thought. They are definitely a change of pace though.
Now let’s get to the cool stuff, the Joye eGo line of e-Cigarettes.
These things are my personal favorite. Dragonfly electronic cigarettes offers quite a few models from this line, they have the eGo-T with batteries of 650 mAH and 1000 mAH (we’ll get to this in a second) and the same battery options come with the eGo-C. Then they have different types but I don’t have time to get into that, I want you to go explore the site and find the right starter kit for you! However, I can explain the eGo-T and eGo-C so that you can enjoy Dragonfly E Cigs in knowing the ins and outs of their products. The eGos have the biggest batteries of an e-Cigarette I’ve ever smoked. mAH, mentioned earlier, is a measure of how long a battery lasts from a single charge. The mini kr808d e-Cigs are pretty much all measured at 280mAH…the eGo comes in 650 and 1000. These things are large, sure, but they last all day and then another day and then another – it’s a whole different world than anything you’ve read or experienced with mini-style e-Cigs. Oh, and also cool is the feature called “5 click on/off”, it allows you to control when your e-Cig is on by simple clicking 5 times to power up or down. Nice to conserve battery – not like you’ll have to worry too much about that with these mega batteries that Dragonfly E Cigs has to offer.
But that’s not even the best part about the Joyetech eGo line – the best part is the fact that you’re smoking e-Liquid without the hassle of polyfill cartomizers, spilt e-Liquid, accidentally getting e-Liquid in your mouth and tasting that god-awful taste when your cartridge runs out and you inhale burning fibers. But with the eGo, you’re smoking straight e-Liquid with none of those hassles. The eGo-C is an advancement on the eGo-T, so we’ll just look at that model. It’s similar to the 510-T Tank but with larger batteries and newer technology. You insert the e-Liquid into these clear cartridges which plug into an atomizer. The atomizer is the heart of the E-Cig, it acts as a wick that gets superheated when the battery is activated, and it vaporizes the e-Liquid in your cartridge into delicious, satisfying vapor.
The eGo-C is really sweet though because they revamped that atomizer and made it easier to clean and replace. A big issue with the eGo-T involved the atomizer and how hard it was to clean and adjust at all – but that’s totally solved by the eGo-C, and I expect nothing less from Joyetech and Dragonfly E Cigarettes. So obviously I recommend the newer eGo-C model if you’re interested in the eGo line. Dragonfly’s website has at least 8 variations of the eGo’s based on battery size but then they also have different types of each model. They come in starter kits and these kits are perfect to get started with these types of advanced and superior e-Cigarettes – and Dragonfly is by far the best provider I’ve found. I got a sample eGo-C with 1000mAH battery and it blew my mind because I was so used to the miniature low-end e-Cigarettes and didn’t realize that all the hype around Joyetech and eGo was legitimate.
Okay I’m going to wrap this up here with a quick overview of everything else in the store and then you can head over there and explore, don’t forget that we have a universal 10% off coupon code that you can use multiple times and on anything in the Dragonfly Electronic Cigarette store. Dragonfly has their own model of e-Cigarette and it’s incredible. I haven’t tried it yet but you should see this thing, it’s a work of art. It’s called the Dragonfly Indulgence (awesome name). It has a clear tank so you can see how much e-Liquid remains and that tank works with any 510 threaded eCig, so you can mix and match. But you probably won’t even want to change the battery because it’s a mind blowing 3,000mAH. Awesome product, can’t wait to try it. Another unique e-Cig is called the Revolution V2 and it looks like a walkman but it’s just a powerful, high-end electronic cigarette.
I think it’s the most interesting e-Cig I’ve seen because it is polygonal, not round, it’s a crazy world where cigarette are little boxes we suck on to get our vapor. But I’m excited to try that one as well. Then they also have their “DSE 901″ starter kit is just like the kr808d mini’s but a slight variation of it. If you’re going to shop Dragonfly, go with the Joyetech eGo’s or one of Dragonfly’s custom e-Cigs like the Dragonfly Indulgence or the Revolution v2. They are really the best investment you can make and I highly recommend Dragonfly if you’re looking to really vaporize and get out of the kiddie pool! Don’t forget to use our 10% off coupon if you decide to make a purchase, you’ll probably end up spending only a few dollars more than you would on the lame starter kits. Good luck!
